Week of July 25th thru 31st

CHURCH OFFICE – If you need to meet, speak, or make an appointment with the Church Secretary the office is open on Monday and Wednesday.  If you need to meet or speak to Pastor Kuhlman you can always reach him on his cell and at his home.  Please note that the church will be locked at all times unless two people are present.

FLOWERS – The flowers on the altar today are given to the glory of God by Phil and Vi Wysong.

MEETINGS AND EVENTS THIS WEEK: None

RECORD OF FELLOWSHIP PADS HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO ALL PEWS –ALL members and visitors are asked to record their attendance at church and communion.  Please return the record to the center aisle.

COMMUNITY PICNIC is Sunday, September 19th.  We did not budget for the picnic last fall not knowing what Covid would be like at that time.  We are asking for donations through the collection plate (please note on envelopes) for the picnic. 

THE LUTHERAN FOUNDATION has created the “Congregational Mental Wellness Assessment” survey to help each member congregation get a snapshot of its congregation members’ current mental health concerns and needs, and to gather input on what kinds of resources and supports they would find most helpful from the church. This anonymous online survey will help each congregation pinpoint the type of mental health ministry initiatives that can help meet the current needs of its members.  Individuals can take the survey anonymously at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TLFMHA

PASTOR WILL BE ON VACATION August 3rd thru the 9th. Rev. Herb Schumm will be our guest pastor.  If you have pastoral needs please contact one of the Elders, Michael Householder, Craig Norden, Jeff Kaiser or Roger Stafford.

JULY – SEPTEMBER PORTALS OF PRAYER are in the information rack in the east entrance and on the table in the back of the church.

AVILLA FOOD PANTRY – Please do not forget the needy people in our community. You may place your food donations in the box in the east entrance.

OLD LAWNMOWER – The Church is selling the old rider lawnmower for $200.00.  Anyone interested please contact Gary Reichhart.

CATECHISM AND ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL is at 8:30AM in the Sanctuary.

CHILDREN SUNDAY SCHOOL is at 8:30AM in the Fellowship Hall.
