SALVATION ARMY RED KETTLE COLLECTION AT IMMANUEL: In past years Immanuel’s Bridge Builders volunteered at Kroger for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Collection.  This year, due to social distancing concerns, we weren’t comfortable taking the kids to collect. So, instead, we have brought a Red Kettle to Immanuel! You will find our little Red “Counter Kettle” located on the table in the east entrance.  All donations collected remain in Noble County.  We will have the Red Kettle here on Sunday November 29 and December 6 only.  Please use this opportunity to support this important charitable mission – your donations are greatly appreciated!

NEW FURNACES NEEDED FOR THE SANCTUARY An upgrade is needed to the 2 furnaces that supply heat to the sanctuary.  The congregation voted to replace them at a cost of $7,100.00.  There was also a discussion of a fundraiser within the congregation to raise the needed monies for the project.  The goal is to prevent the depletion of the current Building Fund.  We ask that special gifts to the Building Fund for the furnaces be placed in the collection plates or mail them to the church with funds earmarked for the Building Fund – Furnaces.

CHURCH DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS will be next Sunday, December 6th following morning worship. All members are welcome and encouraged to come and help prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES – This year here at Immanuel there will be 2 Candlelight Christmas Eve services with Holy Communion on Thursday, December 24th.  The first will begin at 4:00PM and the second will begin at 8:00PM. After each service please take your bulletin and your candle home with you.  There is a sign up sheet for the congregation to choose which service they will be attending on the table in the east entrance.  The purpose is to keep our social distancing and time to sanitize and get the church ready for each service.

JESUS BIRTHDAY PARTY – Unfortunately we will not be having Jesus Birthday Party in the fellowship hall this year.  We are though making up bags for the children to take home so if you have any items to contribute to the bags please talk to Connie Kaiser.

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE – We are looking for a family for our Christmas Giving Tree.  If you know of a needy family the church can help this Christmas please contact Elizabeth Pfafman.
