BRIDGE BUILDERS WELCOME ALL
On Sunday, December 9th from 1p.m. to 2p.m. All Immanuel children are invited to join Bridge Builders in helping with the Red Kettle collection at Kendallville Kroger Supermarket at the entrance – all proceeds go to Common Grace. The kids should come at 1 p.m. to help ring the bell for one hour. The children will be outside so dress appropriately. Some of us will be staying an additional hour, until 3p.m. because they have two-hour slots; anyone is welcome to stay or come at that time if they cannot come earlier. This is a wonderful way for kids to help their neighbors and learn to share God’s love at Christmas time!

BRIDGE BUILDERS will begin our second semester on Monday, January 7 and continue for ten weeks ending on March 11. We have received suggestions from the Bridge Builders on topics to explore, and crafts. Based on their input, we will be exploring why Jesus needed to die for us, and we will have at least one wood craft that will take a few sessions to complete. We are looking forward to second semester with your children and seeing new faces too!

THANK YOU – The 2018 Christmas Bazaar has come and gone. This years Bazaar was a success, but only because of “You” our Immanuel family and friends.
Shelia and Sherri want to “Thank You”. We are the planners for the Bazaar, but it takes all of us to make what we plan to actually happen and become a reality and “You” all did just that.
Thank You to Denise Kistler, Bev Grate, Ruth Seidel, Grace Housholder, April Householder, Vi Wysong, Billie Gienger, Glee Norden, Myrtle Bohnenberger, Pat Buckles, Sylvia Bergman, Rose Kienzler, Donna Kurtz, Keri Shively, Pastor Kuhlman, Paul DeLong, David Boese, Bethel Busckels, Gary Richhart, Terry Gienger, Art Grawcock (apologies if we missed anyone) for helping set up, worked the bazaar, prepared the food, cleaned the hall and removed the items to the garage.
Also thank you to all the congregation that donated items for the bazaar and helped cleanup and put the tables and chairs away on Sunday.
* Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
All proceeds from this year’s Bazaar will go to the Avilla Food Bank, Common Grace, and Lutheran Life Villages Auxiliary. These are not-for-profit organizations that bless many in our community with some of their most basic needs and we at Immanuel are a part of this.
*Hebrew 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace; that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
